Young Leaders Unite for RYLA 2025 In Bataan

ORANI, BATAAN – Young leaders from across Rotary District 3790 came together at Sinagtala Farm Resort on February 15-16, 2025, for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2025.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Metro Olongapo, the two-day camp focused on leadership, communication, and teamwork, preparing participants to take on greater roles in their communities.

District Governor Ariel D. Jersey opened the program with a message on the importance of leadership and service.

Speakers tackled key leadership topics, including “Effective Communication Skills for Young Leaders” by DRR Ericka A. Padal, District Rotaract Representative of D3790 and “Leadership Thru Social Media” by CP Manuel Joseph Franco of Rotaract Club of Calumpit, District 3770.

A hands-on session, “Unlocking Your Leadership Potential,” led by PP Cecil Andin of RC Metro San Fernando, Pampanga, encouraged participants to reflect on their strengths as future leaders.

The evening fellowship night, dubbed “Denim Party Night,” brought energy and creativity, featuring Rotary Youth Leaders Got Talent, Fashionista, and Cluster Festival Booths.

Interactors and Rotaractors showcased their skills, confidence, and camaraderie through performances and interactive presentations, with clubs proudly representing their teams in the friendly competitions.

On the second day, participants were split into teams for an outdoor team-building challenge, testing their problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills under pressure.

The two-day activity concluded with an awarding ceremony, recognizing participants and clubs for their achievements throughout RYLA 2025.

District Governor Ariel D. Jersey officially closed the program, encouraging participants to bring their newfound skills back to their communities and continue living the values of “Service Above Self."
