San Fernando, Pampanga – Bringing together Rotaractors and Interactors for a day filled with learning, the Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3790 successfully conducted the Rotaract District Learning Seminar (RDLS), August 24.
Hosted by Rotaract Club of Dolores, this annual event marked a significant milestone in fostering leadership, collaboration, and service among young professionals and students.
The event commenced with a turnover ceremony by Past District Rotaract Representative (PDRR) Fielson Murillo and District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Ericka Padal, followed by a parade of district officers and club presidents, and induction of district officers and club presidents.
Past Pilipinas MDIO Chair and PDRR Sherry Ann Murillo served as the charging officer, while DG Ariel Jersey inducted the district officers and presidents.
“Let us achieve that this year is the year of influencing others, setting a vision, and guiding a team toward a common goal,” said Padal in her acceptance speech.
The attendees were honored to have DG Jersey, who emphasized the importance of leadership in his inspiring address.
The day included four plenary sessions, covering topics such as Rotaract 101, branding guidelines, club reporting, and the power of volunteerism.
Notable resource speakers were Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO Chair John Philip Chan, Founder of Maginhawa Community Pantry Ana Patricia Non, and PP Roger Legaspi, Jr.
The day concluded with a teambuilding session facilitated by Mr. Jervis Lumanlan, awarding of special citations, raffle, and fellowship.
“The Rotaract District Learning Seminar 2024 was a resounding success, exceeding all expectations and bringing together an incredible community. Positive feedback and high levels of participation demonstrate everyone's hard work and dedication,” said PP Tam Curay, RDLS chair.
RDLS 2024 successfully empowered participants, equipping them with the skills and inspiration to lead their Rotaract clubs effectively.
